Take a Trip Down the
Scenic Delaware River

While you are at The Villas, be sure to encounter first-hand the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains on a paddle down the scenic Delaware River located minutes from your villa in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The crystal clear water, spectacular rock formations, lush mountains and abundant wildlife will quickly inspire you with their natural beauty. It is extremely relaxing and an amazing way to experience the river and the picturesque River Valley.


Edge of the Woods Outfitters is located in the parking lot adjacent to Activity Central for paddle tours. The two and four hour raft and canoe trips include all the equipment you need plus transportation up river and pick up at the end of your trip. Pack a lunch and some drinks and take a leisurely float down the River.

Bike Along The Delaware
If water sports are not for you, why not rent a bike and pedal your way through the National Park on the beautiful McDade trail. It’s perfect for families and great for all ages and ability levels. In addition to the start of a resort-wide flat screen TV upgrade project, we’ve also been hard at work this spring in many other areas. We hope you get to see and use many of these improvements this year.

  • Painting & staining of villa exteriors in both Tree Tops and Fairway got underway in May.
  • New HVAC systems were installed.
  • New accessibility lifts were installed in Tree Tops Outdoor and Fairway Indoor pools.
  • A pool accessible wheelchair was installed at Valley Station Outdoor for use with the “zero
    entry” design on this pool.
  • Many of the golf holes at the Mill Stream Park miniature golf course have been refurbished.
  • Work was completed on the patio area at Wintergreens Patio Grill.
  • A new commercial mower was added to our fleet to help keep things looking their best.
  • A significant portion of resort linens and pillows have been replaced.
  • Our mattress replacement program continues at a steady pace.
  • Housekeeping “Section” Supervisors are now in place throughout the entire resort with new hand-held communication devices to help monitor standards and improve efficiency.
  • A new HVAC system for Valley Station pool.
  • Resurfacing of the tennis and basketball courts in Tree Tops.
  • New exercise equipment for the Fairway Fitness Center.

We know we don’t have the monopoly on bright ideas, and while we’re pretty sure our capital investment, resources and time are being directed where they are needed most, you as an owner at The Villas may have a suggestion or two of your own. We’ll make sure that your suggestions reach the right people so they are in the mix as decisions are made on where to focus our efforts and attention in the future.

Guest Rooms Now Furnished With TVs

We have received an increasing number of requests over the past two years to install a television in the guest bedroom of our two-bedroom villas, and we are pleased to announce that this change is underway for 2012. When completed, all two-bedroom villas at Tree Tops and Fairway will have televisions in both bedrooms in addition to the main TV in the living room.

As part of the same initiative, we will begin replacing the living room televisions with new flat screen TVs. We are getting started before the onset of the peak summer season and expect the project to run through the entire year as time and occupancy permits.
